Fruit and Vegetable Scheme

The School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme (SFVS) provides a free piece of fruit or veg every day to all infant aged children . The initiative behind the scheme is to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables and help towards their five a day. It is hoped that by educating children on the benefits of healthy eating, they will continue to eat healthily in the future. Please note that once your child moves into Y3 and upwards, you will need to provide them with a fresh piece of fruit or veg, should you wish them to continue having a snack at morning break.
