Latest News at Loxley Primary School

I hope you are well and thank you for your support with home learning. For the near future, whilst only critical key worker children are coming into school, we have made a number of alternative arrangements.

Parent/School Communication

We are asking that all communication from/to school should be by email only, unless urgent. School will send out general parent communication via sQuid email, however if parents have any queries/questions for school or specific teachers, then please email these to the following school email address-

This inbox will be monitored on a daily basis and emails filtered out to specific teachers to answer.

We are asking that parents only phone school for urgent issues. The main school phone number will not be manned continuously and therefore we are asking that all calls made into school are made to the school mobile number, which is-

Children coming into school

If you need your child to still attend breakfast club, then please book on as normal via the sQuid platform.

If your child is still coming into school we ask that parents leave their children at the main front door, (a teacher will be there to greet you). Until further notice, we are not allowing parents to come inside the school building. If you need to come to the school office then please communicate through the office window. If you have a question for a teacher, again please email this in.

School dinners are still being offered, however for the foreseeable future the only options will be Red or Yellow (of for you to provide your child with a packed lunch)

Online Learning

All children in Early Years and KS1 have had a home learning pack created. Most of these have already been distributed, or you will have had a phone call from school today asking you to come and pick it up at a convenient time.

Children in KS2 will be undertaking their home learning via the online learning platform, See Saw. If you have not yet registered and logged on to the platform using the unique pupil code provided to you last week, then please do so immediately. For any child who did not attend school last week, we will be posting out the log-in information to your home address this week.
